Last year was extremely difficult for us as a business, and because of that we needed to heavily weigh the pros and cons to each option of the new Alberta implementations, to make sure Deadmonton continues to be the event we’ve all come to love and fear each year.
We feel we’ve been caught between a rock and a hard place, but our decision in this matter is based on Deadmonton as a business continuing to keep its doors open. As such, we will be running at 1/3 capacity for the 2021 season. Like Halloween 2020, we will be implementing the same above and beyond safety protocols that earned us AHS approval to run at this time last year. Additionally we had zero positive cases related in conjunction to our event.
With that being said masking will be mandatory both indoors and outdoors. We have expanded our spacing even more for the line ups to ensure social distancing. Hand sanitizer will be mandatory before entering a show and several stations will be available throughout the compound. We will also continue to encourage pre-purchased, timed ticketing at a reduced capacity.
This was not an easy decision, but we are extremely confident we can run a safe, all inclusive show. We ask at this time to please be kind and respectful to one another, we might be in different boats, but we’re all in the same storm.

Masks will be required by all customers while at Deadmonton, either inside or outside. Masks are available for purchase should you require one.
If tickets are sold out online we will sell tickets at the door if there is capacity – you may experience a wait time but we will try to accommodate everyone who wants to come in. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we must adhere to the AHS guidelines for group sizes and will let you enter as soon as we possibly can. Best to come early and NOT at the very beginning of an hour.
